New York, NY - The NBA suspended New York Knicks forward Quincy Acy one game without pay for committing a flagrant foul 2 which initiated an altercation with Washington Wizards guard John Wall.

The incident, which resulted in an ejection for Acy, occurred with 5:31 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Knicks' 102-91 loss to the Wizards at Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day.

Wall took exception to a hard foul from Acy, retaliating with a shove. The New York forward swung his right arm as if to throw a punch before holding up.

The 24-year-old Wall was fined $15,000 for pushing Acy and escalating the incident.

Acy will serve his suspension on Saturday when the Knicks travel to Sacramento to play the Kings.
