CALGARY - Cayle Radcliff scored three goals to help the Victoria Shamrocks advance to the Minto Cup final with a 7-4 win over the host Calgary Jr. Mountaineers on Thursday night.
The Shamrocks will meet Orangeville on Saturday night in the championship game. Victoria lost to the Northmen 10-5 in the round robin on Monday.
The semifinal was tied 4-4 when Victoria broke it open with three goals in the final two minutes of regulation.
Radcliff scored the winning goal at 18:04, then added another 28 seconds later. Kory Kowalyk completed the scoring on the power play with 22 seconds remaining.
Joel Henry, Sean Nugent and Michael Pires had the other goals for the Shamrocks.
Kiel Donahue, with two, Tyler Prindham and Danny Farmer replied for Calgary, which trailed 2-1 and 3-1 at the intermissions.
