Small leads Rush past Bandits with seven-point night

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Corey Small had four goals and three assists to power the Edmonton Rush past the Buffalo Bandits 14-7 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.

Curtis Knight had a hat trick and an assist for Edmonton (7-4), which has won four games in a row. Zack Greer had a pair of goals and an assist, while Jarrett Davis, Ryan Ward, Mark Matthews, Chris Corbeil and Brett Mydske.

Goaltender Aaron Bold made 35 saves to earn the win.

Alexander Kedoh Hill had a hat trick in his debut for Buffalo (5-7). He was acquired by the Bandits from the Rochester Knighthawks just before the NLL's March 13 trade deadline.

Dhane Smith scored twice, while Aaron Wilson and Mike Hominuck added singles for the Bandits, who have lost four straight.

Kurtis Wagar and Anthony Cosmo gave up seven goals each for Buffalo. Wagar made 25 saves in 32:42 of work, while Cosmo made 24 saves in 27:18.
