PHILADELPHIA - Kevin Crowley's sixth goal of the game at 5:53 of the fourth quarter put his club ahead for good as the Philadelphia Wings edged the visiting Toronto Rock 14-13 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.
Tracey Kelusky and Kyle Buchanan each had a pair of goals for the Wings (4-9), Ryan Ward had a goal and three assists and Garret Thul, Brodie Merrill and Pat Saunders added single goals.
Philadelphia's Jordan Hall chipped in with five assists while Crowley tacked on three for a nine-point performance.
Garrett Billings led the Rock (5-8) with three goals and sevens assists, Rob Hellyer and Josh Anderson added three goals apiece and Sandy Chapman, Colin Doyle, Bill Greer and Scott Johnston added the others.
Evan Kirk and Kevin Croswell combined to stop 46-of-59 shots for the Wings. Toronto's Nick Rose gave up 14 goals on 58 shots against.
