Watch the video of Lauren Hill, the Division III freshman diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and expected to live only until December, as she plays in her first college basketball game with Mount St. Joseph.

While Mount St. Joseph's season typically begins at the end of November, this year started earlier to help Lauren achieve her goal of playing college basketball. Lauren committed to play for Mount St. Joseph last year, her senior year of high school, and only weeks before she started experiencing symptoms of her brain cancer.

Given two years to live, Lauren played out her senior season in high school before heading to Mount St. Joseph. But then this fall Lauren's life expectancy shortened to December. Her goal then became to play in a college basketball game and to become the much needed face of pediatric brain cancer.

With the support of her friends and family, Lauren played in front of a sold out arena of 10,000 fans, an impressive number for a team that normally only draws 100.
