HULL, England - Bottom club Leicester earned its first Premier League win since September by beating Hull 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a first-half goal from Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez struck in the 32nd minute with a low shot from the outside of the penalty area to give Nigel Pearson's side its first victory since stunning Manchester United 5-3, before both clubs had players sent off in the final minutes of the game.

Leicester defender Paul Konchesky was sent off in the 88th when he was booked for the second time for a clash with Hull midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady.

Stephen Quinn of Hull was then red carded by referee Phil Dowd in added time for a deliberate handball that prevented a Leicester break.

Hull created the majority of attacking chances but Leicester held on through five minutes of stoppage time.
