TORONTO - Defenceman Victor Loov scored in overtime after tying the game in the third period as the Toronto Marlies beat the Utica Comets 3-2 in American Hockey League action Sunday.

Troy Bodie also scored for the Marlies (1-1-0). Greg McKegg added two assists.

Dustin Jeffrey and Brandon DeFazio had the goals for Utica (1-0-1).

Christopher Gibson made 25 saves for Toronto, while Comets goaltender Joacim Eriksson also stopped 25 shots.

Both teams were shut out in three power-play opportunities.

It was a rematch of Utica's 2-1 win over Toronto on Saturday.
