Kyle Lowry is in New York City to get a routine checkup on his wrist two weeks after having surgery.

According to TSN's Raptors reporter Josh Lewenberg, the point guard is progressing well, but there is no change to the timeline of his return date.

Lowry has started rehabbing the wrist with light dribbling exercises, but hasn't started shooting.

The 30-year-old has missed the last 10 games with a right wrist injury suffered against the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 15, right before the All-Star Break in New Orleans. Not knowing how serious the injury was, Lowry competed in the Three-Point Contest and All-Star Game over the Feb 17-19 weekend. Lowry had surgery on Feb. 28 and the team is hoping he'll be ready to go for the playoffs.

Lowry is averaging 22.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.9 assists over 56 games with the Raptors this season, his fifth with the team.

If he chooses, Lowry can opt-out of the remaining year of his contact following the 2016-17 season to test the free-agent market.
