Toronto Maple Leafs forward David Booth suffered a fractured nose in Wednesday's loss to the Anaheim Ducks.
Booth left the game in the third period after he was hit in the head by an inadvertent elbow while checking Ducks defenceman Sami Vatanen, who was fined $3,393.82 for the incident.
His status for Thursday's game against the Sharks in San Jose is not yet determined.
