Having won gold with Canada at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Vlasic joins Matt Duchene, Claude Giroux and Ryan O'Reilly as players who also represented Canada at last fall's World Cup of Hockey. This is Vlasic's third world championship.

This is Schenn's seventh time representing Canada internationally, having won gold most recently at the 2015 worlds. In 10 games during that tournament, Schenn had a goal and an assist.

Johnson appeared at the 2010 worlds, also held in Germany. He made three appearances for a Canadian team that finished seventh.
