MLB and umpires ratify five-year labour contract
Baseball owners and major league umpires have ratified a five-year collective bargaining agreement that extends through the 2019. Major League Baseball made the announcement Wednesday. The deal was agreed to in late December and was subject to approval by MLB and the World Umpires Association.
