The Major League Baseball offseason is in full swing with chatter hot and heavy as teams start to put their winter plans in place. Follow all the latest rumours on TSN.ca.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports that five teams have shown the most interest in free-agent starter David Price.  Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox are all expected to make pushes to sign the coveted pitcher.  Rosenthal says Price is open to returning to the Blue Jays but does not believe they will be a major factor.

Jon Heyman of CBSsports.com reports that the St. Louis Cardinals have reached out to free-agent Ben Zobrist.  The veteran utility player finished last season with the champion Kansas City Royals following a deadline deal with the Oakland Athletics.

Heyman also reports that Pittsburgh Pirates slugging first baseman Pedro Alvarez could be looking for a trade during the offseason.
