Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim recalled several players from the minors now that the major-league roster size has expanded to 40 players.

The Angels recalled five players from Triple-A Salt Lake: catcher Bobby Wilson, infielder Brandon Wood, outfielder Reggie Willits and pitchers Rich Thompson and Sean O'Sullivan.

Willits has had the most major league experience this season, registering a .206 batting average with two doubles and six RBI in 34 games. O'Sullivan has started nine games for the Angels this season, going 3-2 with a 6.60 earned run average.

Rich Thompson has made 12 relief appearances and has a 5.40 ERA, while Wood has a homer and three RBI in 11 games. Wilson has played in just two games without registering an at-bat.

The team also sent second baseman Sean Rodriguez to Tampa Bay to complete the trade that brought pitcher Scott Kazmir to Los Angeles.
