The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired pitcher Dana Eveland, landing the left-hander from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for a player to be named later or cash.

The 6'1, 220-pounder pitched in 13 games for the A's in 2009, going 2-4 with a 7.16 ERA.

Eveland, 26, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2002 and has since pitched for the Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks and A's.
