TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays sent outfielder Travis Snider to triple-A Las Vegas after a 5-2 victory over the Texas Rangers on Thursday.
Snider, 23, has one homer, 12 RBIs and a .184 average in 25 games with the Blue Jays this season.
The Blue Jays also outrighted Chris Woodward to the triple-A club. The 34-year-old backup infielder did not have a hit in four at-bats.
The team will make roster moves Friday to fill the open spots on the roster. Toronto will kick off a weekend series in New York on Friday night.
