The New York Yankees have reclaimed top spot in the TSN.ca Power Rankings.

It's the fourth week this season that the Bronx Bombers have been ranked number one and the first time in four weeks.

A 13-5 record in the last 18 games has the Yankees tied for the best record in the American League and owning the best run differential in baseball.

The Yankees hold a one-game lead on the Boston Red Sox in the American League East and the Red Sox are ranked No. 2, heading into a series with the Yankees that starts in New York Tuesday night.

Getting healthy and receiving a surprising contribution from Endy Chavez, the Texas Rangers were one of the big movers of the week, going from eight to three.

Last week's top-ranked team, the St. Louis Cardinals dropped to fifth, as injuries -- most notably to LF Matt Holliday -- start to accumulate.

Granted, the opposition (the Yankees and Red Sox) was tough, but Oakland lost all six games last week, plummeting from 17 to 25.

Toronto, still lingering just above .500, was bumped up from 12 to 10 this week, thanks to 1B Adam Lind returning to the lineup.
