The Toronto Blue Jays have added some more depth to their pitching staff.
On Friday, the club announced that RHP Justin Germano signed a minor-league contract with the club for the 2013 season.
As part of the deal, the 30-year-old will receive an invite to Major League spring training.
In 2012, Germano was 2-10 with a 6.20 ERA in 12 starts for the Chicago Cubs and one relief appearance for the Boston Red Sox.
In 93 career games, the seven-year veteran is 10-30 with a 5.27 ERA.
