TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays declined to offer a 2013 contract to catcher Bobby Wilson on Friday.

The 29-year-old was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays from the Los Angeles Angels on Oct. 22.

Wilson batted .211 with three home runs and 13 RBIs in 75 games last season with the Angels. In parts of five seasons in the majors, Wilson has a .208 average with eight homers and 37 RBIs.

The move brings Toronto's 40-man roster to 39.
