R.A. Dickey will make his first appearance as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday against a split-squad of the Boston Red Sox.
Dickey will get the start in the spring training matchup and is slated to pitch two innings, he will be followed on the mound by another off-season addition Josh Johnson, who will also be making his Blue Jays debut.
Dickey, who went 20-6 and won the Cy Young Award last season with the New York Mets, has already been named the Blue Jays Opening Day starter.
Brandon Morrow will start in the Blue Jays' spring training opener against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.
On Sunday, Mark Buehrle will start in a split-squad game against the visiting Baltimore Orioles while J.A. Happ will start in the other split-squad game against the New York Yankees.
