Just over 12 hours after the shortest start in his MLB career, Toronto Blue Jays starter Ricky Romero is heading to Triple-A Buffalo.

Along with Romero, who only go one out and gave up three earned runs to the Tampa Bay Rays during Wednesday's 10-4 loss, right-handed pitcher Edgar Gonzalez was designated for assignment.

Taking their spots on the roster are right handed pitchers Ramon Ortiz and Mickey Storey.

More details to follow.
