With Blue Jays spring training under a week away, Alex Anthopoulos admitted that despite the team's improved starting rotation depth, the Jays “still want to try to sign a starter.” Speaking on TSN 1050 Friday morning, the general manager mentioned Drew Hutchison, Marcus Stroman and Kyle Drabek as pitchers who are ready to contribute, but at the same time said the team continues to have dialogue with the remaining free agents.
