Blue Jays' Sierra claimed off waivers by White Sox

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Moises Sierra was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox on Saturday.

The 25-year-old native of the Dominican Republic was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Thursday.

In 34 at-bats this season, Sierra had two hits and nine strikeouts.
