Scouting Report

AssetsDefensively he was one of the best in the game: has an exceptional throwing arm and great footwork. Rarely made a mistake behind the dish. Called a very good game and led pitchers very well.
FlawsWas highly injury-prone. Didn't provide much offensively (except for the odd home run). Struck out too much and had little base-running speed. Didn't draw many walks, either.
Career potentialSavvy, defense-first catcher.
