AssetsBrought an imposing frame and demeanor to the mound, and wasn't afraid to dust off batters. Boasted an effective slider, which he utilized effectively as his primary out pitch. Also threw a circle-change for strikes.
FlawsWas prone to wildness, and when his fastball straightened out he could get hammered. Had some issues during his career with performance-enhancing drugs. Despite a lengthy career in the majors he rarely found himself in the role of closer.
