Scouting Report

AssetsDurable and dependable, he's a battler and innings muncher. Gets ahead in the count and challenges batters repeatedly with his sinking fastball. Is always around the plate, so he doesn't give up many walks.
FlawsFor a big guy (6-6, 210 pounds), he doesn't overpower anyone. Despite his solid command, he also surrenders way too many hits in general, and a few too many homers specifically. Could stand to be craftier with his stuff.
Career potentialVeteran starter.
