Scouting Report

AssetsSwings a big power bat and can also hit for a good average when he's seeing the ball well. Has some natural leadership qualities due to his catching resume earlier in his career.
FlawsWasn't a very good defensive catcher, which led to a switch to first base. As a hitter, he strikes out way too much. Doesn't run well at all, which is hardly surprising.
Career potentialVeteran home-run-hitter and run producer.
