The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed RHP Tyson Brummett off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 28-year-old Brummett spent the majority of his season with Reading (AA) and Lehigh Valley (AAA), posting a 5-6 record with a 3.24 ERA in 44 appearances.
The 6'0, right-hander made his Major League debut this season on Oct. 3 at Washington, going 0.2 innings and striking out two. In six minor league seasons, Brummett owns a 26-47 record with a 4.52 ERA.
The Blue Jays now have 40 players on the 40-man roster.
