It appears that another member of the Toronto Blue Jays coaching staff will be going to Boston.

A day after the Red Sox announced the hiring of John Farrell as manager, the Boston Globe is reporting that Jays' first base coach Torey Lovullo is close to being named as Red Sox bench coach.

Lovullo was a manager for the Red Sox triple-A team in Pawtucket, before he followed Farrell from Boston to Toronto for the 2011 season. He interviewed for Boston's manager's job in November, 2011 before the position went to Bobby Valentine.

Valentine was fired after one season and a 69-93 record with the Red Sox.

According to the Globe, Farrell is in the "third or fourth inning" of assembling his new coaching staff.
