New York Mets' catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud, who the club received from the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the R.A. Dickey has a non-displaced fracture in his left foot.

According to various reports out of New York, d'Arnaud took a foul ball off his foot in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game in Las Vegas, where he plays for the Mets' Triple-A affiliate, the 51s.

There is no timetable for his return, and d'Arnaud will fly to New York for further examination.

It's the second season in a row that the highly touted prospect has suffered an injury.  Last season, the 24-year-old was limited to 67 games after suffering a torn PCL in his knee.
