Royce Gracie

Fight History: Gracie is part of one of the most recognized families in the world of mixed martial arts. Beginning at the age of eight, Royce was competing in tournaments and learning the skills that would later make him a legend in the sport. He emerged victorious from the tournament at UFC 1, UFC 2, and UFC 4, all the while earning a reputation for defeating opponents who were larger than him. Gracie helped revolutionized the sport with his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is considered one of the greatest grapplers of all-time.

Ken Shamrock

Fight History: Shamrock is known as one of the biggest stars in the history of the UFC. He was the original UFC Superfight Champion, submitting Dan Severn at UFC 6: Clash of the Titans in 1995. Shamrock's rivalry with Royce Gracie was one of the most intriguing stories in the early days of the UFC. The two legends battled on a pair of occasions, first in the semifinals at UFC 1 which ended with Gracie earning a submission victory. The much-hyped rematch at UFC 5: The Return of the Beast was ruled a draw. Shamrock is also responsible for creating the Lion's Den, which was viewed as one of the most dominant mixed martial arts camps in the early days of the UFC.

Dan "The Beast" Severn

Fight History: Severn made his debut in the UFC in 1994 at UFC 4: Revenge of the Warriors with a background in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. Two years later he defeated fellow Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock to earn the title of UFC Superfight Champion in his home state of Michigan. "The Beast" has a record of 91-16-7 and is one of only a handful of mixed martial artists who have hit the century mark in fights. Severn was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2005 at UFC 52.

Randy "The Natural" Couture

Fight History: At UFC 13, Couture emerged on the scene by winning the four-man heavweight tournament. Later that year, he became the UFC heavyweight champion by earning a majority decision over Maurice Smith. Couture is the only fighter in UFC history to hold both the heavyweight and light heavyweight championship, and is the only five-time champion in the fight league's history. In his final bout, Couture lost by technical knockout to Lyoto Machida at UFC 129 in Toronto.

Mark "The Hammer" Coleman

Fight History: A former NCAA collegiate wrestler and one-time Olympic amateur wrestler, Coleman began his UFC career in 1996 when he won UFC 10. Coleman went on to become the first ever UFC heavyweight title holder by defeating Dan Severn at UFC 12. "The Hammer" is credited with being one of the founders of the ground-and-pound attack. Coleman is coming off a unanimous decision win over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 last July. The 44-year-old was to have faced Tito Ortiz at UFC 106, but he withdrew from the fight because of a torn MCL. He is coming off a loss against Randy Couture at UFC 109. Coleman was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2008.

Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell

Height: 6'2"

Fight History: Liddell, the former light heavyweight champion, is one of the most successful fighters in UFC history. A dangerous striker in his prime, Liddell holds a mixed martial arts record of 21-8, with wins over Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, and Wanderlei Silva. After losing five of his last six fights it appears the end has arrived for "The Iceman," whose most recent loss came at the hands of Rich Franklin at UFC 115 in Vancouver.

Charles "Mask" Lewis Jr.

Born: San Bernardino, California

Background: While he wasn't a fighter, Lewis is the co-founder of the TapouT clothing company and is seen as a pioneer in mixed martial arts. Lewis and his friends began selling the apparel from the trunk of their car outside of MMA shows in their area. Ten years later, TapouT has become a multi-million dollar company. Sadly, Lewis passed away in an automobile accident in 2009 at the age of 46. He was posthumously inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2009, and is the only non-fighter to gain entry.

Matt Hughes

Born: Hillsboro, Illinois

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 170 lbs.

Overall MMA Record (W-L-D): 45-9-0

Fight History: Hughes is one of the greatest welterweights of all-time. He held the UFC welterweight title on two occasions and still holds the record for the most wins in the UFC with 18. During his career he earned victories over the likes of B.J. Penn, Georges St-Pierre, and fellow Hall of Famer Royce Gracie.

Tito Ortiz

Fight History: The Huntington Beach Bad Boy is a former light heavyweight champion, who first won the UFC's 205-pound title in 2000 with a unanimous decision victory over Wanderlei Silva. Ortiz held onto the UFC title for over three years, longer than any other fighter has managed to do in the light heavyweight division. Ortiz fought his final bout at UFC 148, where he completed his trilogy with Forrest Griffin.
