Famed casting duo Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles and Erik “DoA” Lonnquist will leave their post in South Korea and return to the United States to lend their talents to Blizzard’s Overwatch League.

The two have traveled the world for many years casting some of the biggest games in esports. They made their name in League of Legends but picked up Overwatch and have been calling OGN’s Overwatch League, APEX, for the first two seasons. They will wrap up their time with APEX after Saturday’s finals between RunAway and Lunatic-Hai.

The Overwatch League is expected to begin sometime after July and while Mykles and Lonnquist will be the faces of the announcing team, they also plan to work behind the scenes to help the new North American league develop.

"Obviously we will serve as broadcasters for the Overwatch League once it begins in Q3 of 2017, but we're also excited to serve as consultants to Blizzard as the broadcast and shoulder content takes shape," Mykles told ESPN. "One of the most compelling aspects of moving back to the States is the opportunity to help build a show from the ground up that resonates with fans as an authentic esports product rather than overreaching into outmoded models from traditional sports."
