Montreal Canadiens head coach Randy Cunneyworth is hoping that the third time is a charm. Cunneyworth's Habs have suffered two straight losses vs New Jersey and at Boston. Tonight, is a huge challenge as the Canadiens are in Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. The Hawks are first overall in the NHL and their best players (Marian Hossa, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp and Patrick Kane) have produced 141 points. The Hawks have scored the most goals in the NHL with 113.

Surprisingly, the Canadiens coach has given the starting assignement to goalie Peter Budaj. The Habs backup netminder has played only four games thus far. Budaj, has a 2.50 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. Cunneyworth is hoping that the presence of the backup will see every player on the team step up and give a better effort. He's hoping the team will play tighter defensively.

For the Blackhawks, Montreal native Corey Crawford gets the start in goal.

With the exception of the goalie change, the Habs will go with the same lineup as last game. That means, defencemen Alexei Emelin and Yanick Weber will sit.
