The Montreal Canadiens will play their first preseason game of the year as they host the Buffalo Sabres tonight at the Bell Centre.

The Canadiens have taken this opportunity to give a lot of young players the chance to get some NHL experience. The Habs first round draft choice from this year, Michael McCarron, is excited to get his first taste of playing in the NHL.

"This is what you live for, tonight is going to be a good test to see my abilities at the NHL level," said McCarron after the team's morning skate.

A player who has quickly made a name for himself at Habs camp is Martin Reway. The young Czech player out of the QMJHL was drafted 116 overall in this year's draft has shown he deserves a chance to get some pre-season experience.
