There are very few rinks in the NHL that can match the energy and excitement level of the Bell Centre which can make for a hostile environment for the visiting team especially during the playoffs. The Canadiens will look to take advantage of that as they get set to host the Tampa Bay Lightning in their first home playoff game of the season.

"Once you get into the playoffs you can really feel the excitement of the crowd and it gives us that extra boost we need," Brendan Gallagher said following the morning skate at the Canadiens practice facility in Brossard.

Michel Therrien would like to see his team make use of that energy in a positive way. "Players will feed from the crowd but they need to keep their composure and play the way they're suppose to" the head coach told the media.

A two-game lead doesn't guarantee anything and the Canadiens know that all too well. Most recently in 2011 the Habs were up 2-0 coming home from Boston only to lose in the first round to the Bruins in overtime of Game 7. "We talk about past experiences and take what we can from it but we have to remember it's a whole new season," Josh Gorges said reflecting on that 2011 first-round exit.

Anders Lindback will start in goal for the Lightning despite getting pulled last game. Ondrej Palat, who got hurt in Game 1 and hasn't played since, will be a game-time decision.
