The latest Marc Trestman news has ESPN reporting the current Montreal Alouettes head coach as one of three finalists for the Chicago Bears head coaching vacancy.
Trestman, as well as Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, will be brought back by Bears GM Phil Emery for a second interview according to league sources.
Trestman was in the news last week when former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson tweeted that it looked like Trestman would be hired as Bears head coach.
In five seasons with the Aloeuttes, Trestman has coached Montreal to three Grey Cup appearances, winning two. Trestman has offensive coordinator experience in the NFL with four teams, and was the OC in Oakland when the Raiders went to the Super Bowl in 2002.
