The Montreal Canadiens finally know when the bell will ring for their second round series with the Boston Bruins.

The NHL has announced that the best-of-seven series will begin on Thursday night in Boston.

Game time will be 7:30pm et. The league said it will release the rest of the second round schedule on Wednesday.

The Canadiens have been idle since sweeping the Tampa Bay Lightning on April 22. The team will shaking off rust from an eight-day layoff between series.

Boston last played on Saturday when they finished off the Detroit Red Wings in five games, and will play after a four-day break.

Alex Galchenyuk skated alone on Wednesday morning, his first time on the ice since injuring his right knee in Chicago on April 9.
