CLEVELAND - Joonis Korpisalo stopped 24 shots and Nick Moutrey scored his first American Hockey League goal as the Lake Erie Monsters toppled the visiting Manitoba Moose 4-1 on Friday.
Moutrey broke a 1-1 deadlock at 15:32 of the second period with a power-play goal for the Monsters (12-4-2), who also got goals from Ryan Craig, Sonny Milano and Michael Chaput.
Nic Petan found the back of the net for the Moose (4-11-2).
Manitoba's Eric Comrie turned aside 27-of-31 shots in a losing cause.
Lake Erie went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Moose failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
