Boston Celtics

Team Page | Roster | Stats

Regular Season Record: 62-20
Head-to-Head Record: 2-1
Last NBA Championship: 2008
Last NBA Finals Appearance: 2008
Last Postseason Appearance: 2008
A reason to cheer for the Celtics: The Celtics are a huge part of the historical fabric of the NBA, having won 17 championships, 20 conference title and 27 division titles. As far as tradition goes, it's tough to top the Celts, with 21 numbers retired. Fueled by Kevin Garnett's passion and the unstoppable power of the Big Three, Boston got off to an incredible 27-2 start this season. They won 19 straight games (a franchise record) and had another streak of 12 wins in a row this season. But without Garnett for the second season, there could be trouble. But the Celtics are still an exciting team to watch, and wouldn't it be fun to see an epic Celtics-Lakers rematch in the Finals? The Celts are a hard-working, physical squad, and rather than resting on last season's accolades, they look just as hungry to win it this year.

Players to Watch: Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo

Chicago Bulls

Team Page | Roster | Stats

Regular Season Record: 41-41
Head-to-Head Record: 1-2
Last NBA Championship: 1998
Last NBA Finals Appearance: 1998
Last Postseason Appearance: 2007
A reason to cheer for the Bulls: After selecting Derrick Rose with the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft in 2008, the Bulls have locked up a playoff spot after missing last year's post-season. Fans in Chicago await a return to the glory days of Michael Jordan - the team last won the league championship in 1998. While the Bulls aren't exactly a favourite to win it all this season, they have shown signs of rebuilding and could be fun to root for as an underdog. And with the Celtics missing Kevin Garnett, when it comes to a possible first-round upset, well...anything is possible.

Players to Watch: Ben Gordon, John Salmons, Derrick Rose
