Philadelphia 76ers

Team Page | Roster | Stats

Regular Season Record: 41-41
Head-to-Head Record: 0-3
Last NBA Championship: 1983
Last NBA Finals Appearance: 2001
Last Postseason Appearance: 2008
A reason to cheer for the 76ers: It's Philadelphia's 60th season in the NBA, and they haven't made it past the first round of the playoffs since 2002-03. Could this be the year they break their string of post-season mediocrity? With a deep squad that's dangerous in any place at any time, the 76ers are one of the most athletic teams in the league. The Philadelphia squad gives one hundred per cent every night, and if they can make the most of their powerful and unpredictable offence, they could pull off a first-round win.

Players to Watch: Andre Iguodala, Andre Miller, Thaddeus Young, Samuel Dalembert

Orlando Magic

Team Page | Roster | Stats

Regular Season Record: 59-23
Head-to-Head Record: 3-0
Last NBA Championship: -
Last NBA Finals Appearance: 1995
Last Postseason Appearance: 2008
A reason to cheer for the Magic: Orlando was 33-8 and the halfway point of the season, and went on to win their second straight division title. Led by one of the league's most exciting and dynamic players in 23-year-old Dwight Howard, the Magic are seeking their first trip to the NBA Finals since losing to the Rockets in 1995. The Magic have an excellent long-range game and their depth means that anyone on the court can be dangerous at any given time, adding a little unpredictability to their game. They'll need to toughen up from the top down if they are to compete with some of the more physical teams they could meet.

Players to Watch: Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu
