2012 NBA Draft Lottery

draftThe New Orleans Hornets won the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery and the right to select first in the draft. The Hornets finished the season last in the Western Conference at 21-45. They had a 13.7% chance at winning the lottery and moved up three spots.

The Toronto Raptors will pick eighth after moving neither up nor down in the lottery. The Raptors had just a 3.5% chance of winning the top selection after finishing the season 23-43.

The Charlotte Bobcats had the best chance at winning the lottery at 25% after winning only seven games all season and finishing with the worst winning percentage (.106) in NBA history. They slipped one spot to second overall.

Kentucky Wildcats star Anthony Davis is widely expected to be the number one selection at the draft on June 28.
