Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - LeBron James scored eight of his 21 points in the final minute, as Cleveland pulled out a gritty 107-103 win over Utah.
James added nine assists and six rebounds while getting plenty of help from Mo Williams, who had 21 points, and J.J. Hickson, who set a career-high for the second consecutive game with 20. Anthony Parker ended with 14 points, including a late three-pointer in the club's fourth straight win.
Carlos Boozer recorded 25 points and 12 boards against his former team, while rookie Eric Maynor filled in admirably for Deron Williams with a 24-point effort for Utah, which has alternated wins and losses for seven games.
Hickson's jumper had Cleveland up, 94-86, with roughly 5 1/2 minutes to play. Utah responded with an 11-2 run, though, as two Boozer free throws with 1:56 remaining gave the Jazz their first lead of the game.
Parker's three-ball was followed by Mehmet Okur's tip-in with a minute left to tie the game, 99-99.
Then, James took over. The reigning league MVP hit 1-of-2 from the foul line and answered Maynor's driving bucket with a three-point play with 28.8 seconds left for a 103-101 lead.
After Kirilenko missed a deep three-pointer, Maynor hit a runner between James' 3-for-4 effort at the stripe.
Down 106-103, the Jazz called timeout with 9.9 seconds left and drew up a play for Okur, whose missed three sealed the outcome.
The Cavs shot 15-of-21 from the field in the first quarter to take a 34-22 edge. Utah used an 11-0 run in the second to help pull to within 59-54 at the halftime.
The third quarter went back-and-forth with Cleveland still holding a 78-72 lead at the end of the frame.
