Some fantasy stats notes, including Ariza's rise, Ridnour's resurrection, Stoudemire playing soft and Rondo bricking from the line.
Also, check out this week's Power Rankings and Player Rankings.
- The 18.4 points per game is nice, but Houston SF Trevor Ariza is the only player in the league to have more than 2.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers per game.
- Grizzlies C Marc Gasol doesn't need to get lumped in with Fredo Corleone just yet. Averaging 14.9 ppg, 11.1 rpg and 1.7 bpg, while shooting 58.8% from the field, he's more than holding his own.
- Back from injury, Wizards SG Mike Miller is knocking down his shots, scoring 18.5 per game and hitting 63.6% from the field (55.6% on threes) in two games.
- Suns PF/C Channing Frye already has three games this year in which he's nailed six three-pointers.
- Bucks PG Luke Ridnour has been able to share time in the backcourt with rookie phenom Brandon Jennings lately. In the last three games, Ridnour has played more than 32:00, averaging 15.7 ppg, 4.3 apg, and 2.3 3PTpg.
- The departure of Stephen Jackson won't hurt Warriors SF Corey Maggette, who has scored at least 20 in six of the last nine games.
- Pacers SF Dahntay Jones has scored 25 points in two of the last three games, his most since scoring 26 on March 24, 2007.
- Pistons PG Will Bynum is averaging 19.0 ppg and 3.2 apg in the last five.
- Suns C Amare' Stoudemire hasn't recorded more than eight rebounds in any of the last six games. In five of those games, it's been six or fewer.
- Marco Belinelli is doing the scoring job off the bench for the Raptors, playing nearly 28 minutes per game in the last four, averaging 15.3 ppg.
- Maverics PF Drew Gooden has 16.7 ppg and 12.0 rpg in the last three.
- Bulls C Joakim Noah is averaging 14.0 rpg and 2.1 bpg in the last eight games.
- Since Kevin Martin got hurt, Kings PG Beno Udrih has averaged 16.4 ppg and 4.4 apg in five starts.
- He's hit and miss, but Bucks PF Ersan Ilyasova has put up 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in the last five.
- Nuggets PG Chauncey Billups has struggled from the field the last couple games, going 3-for-14, while averaging 6.5 ppg.
- Hornets PF David West is missing Chris Paul, averaging 12.7 ppg, on 15-for-42 shooting, in the last three games.
