PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have extended qualifying offers to centre Robin Lopez and guard Aaron Brooks, making both restricted free agents.

The 15th overall pick in the 2008 draft, Lopez has struggled with consistency and temperament. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in four seasons with the Suns and served as starting centre Marcin Gortat's backup last season.

The 2009-10 NBA most improved player, Brooks came to the Suns in a 2011 trade with Houston and appeared in 25 games. He played last season in the Chinese Basketball Association.
