NEW YORK -- The New York Knicks have signed free-agent swingman James White.

Terms of the deal announced Wednesday were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pound former Cincinnati star was selected by Portland in the second round, 31st overall, of the 2006 draft. He appeared in 10 NBA games with San Antonio (2006-07) and Houston (2008-09).

White spent the last three seasons playing in Russia and Italy. He averaged 17.4 poings, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Italian club Pesaro last season.
