NEW YORK -- The Orlando Magic and New Orleans Hornets will play a preseason game in Mexico City.

The game will be a homecoming for the Magic's Gustavo Ayon, a Mexican who was dealt from New Orleans to Orlando earlier this month.

Hosted by the Mexico City Arena on Oct. 7, the game will be the NBA's 18th in Mexico City and 20th in the country, most for anyplace outside the United States and Canada.

There will be nine international games in October involving 10 NBA teams.
