Nuggets exercise 2013-14 options on Faried and Hamilton

DENVER -- The Denver Nuggets have exercised third-year options on forward Kenneth Faried and swingman Jordan Hamilton for 2013-14.

Faried averaged 10.2 points and 7.7 rebounds as a rookie last year. He's averaging 11 points and 5.8 rebounds after five preseason games.

Hamilton, acquired from Dallas in a three-team trade in June 2011, averaged 4.4 points and 2.4 rebounds as a rookie last year. He's averaging 12.3 points after three preseason games this year.
