Kobe Bryant is waking up $24 million richer on Friday.
As reported by the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers' All-Star guard - as part of his contract - receives a balloon payment of $24,363,044 from the Lakers on Nov. 1.
Bryant will also get $6.1 million in salary over the course of the season.
Bryant tore his Achilles tendon on Apr. 12 in the Lakers' win over the Golden State Warriors and is expected to be out for six to nine months.
The Lakers are 1-1 this season.
