Senators sign NCAA free agent goaltender Hammond

The Ottawa Senators have signed free agent goaltender Andrew Hammond to a two-year entry-level contract.

The 25-year-old Hammond just finished his senior season with the University of Bowling Green Falcons and will report to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Hammond posted a 10-15-3 record with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage in 29 games with the Falcons this season.
