Not going anywhere: DeMar DeRozan is close to becoming a free agent, but he's not going anywhere. According to reports, the All-Star guard has agreed to terms on a five-year deal to stay with the Toronto Raptors. The Vertical reports the deal is worth more than $139 million total, which means DeRozan will likely be making nearly $30 million a year. 

Another game for Milos: After earning a straight sets victory over Andreas Seppi on Thursday, Canadian Milos Raonic will be back on the court for third round action today. Raonic will be taking on American doubles star Jack Sock, who he has won seven straight matches against. Raonic is scheduled to take to the court at 1pm et/10am pt on TSN2.

Across the pond: Portugal qualified for the semifinals at Euro 2016 on Thursday after edging Poland 5-3 in a penalty shootout. Ricardo Quaresma scored the winning penalty moments after Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio dived to his left to save Jakub Blaszczykowski's spot kick. The match was finished 1-1 after 120 minutes of play.

In today’s action, Belgium will take on Wales with the winner advancing to face Portugal in the semifinals. Belgium and Wales will kick off at 3pm et/Noon pt. on TSN1, 3 and 5.

Unlucky 13 (for the Jays): The red-hot Cleveland Indians picked up their 13th win in a row as they defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 4-1 on Thursday.  Indians starter Carlos Carrasco went 7.1 innings, giving up three hits and one run to earn the victory.

The Blue Jays will try to snap the Indians impressive winning streak in a Canada Day matinee as they send Marcus Stroman to the hill against Josh Tomlin.

Capital Gains: Trevor Harris completed 20 of 26 pass attempts for 395 yards and three touchdowns while receiver Chris Williams pulled down seven catches for 187 and a major as the Ottawa Redblacks improved to 2-0 with a 28-13 victory over the Montreal Alouettes.

The game was not without controversy as both Alouettes receiver Duron Carter and Redblacks defensive back Jerrell Gavins were ejected from the game after a melee on the sideline.

Crash the Party: The Toronto Argonauts defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 30-17 on Thursday night for their first win of the season. The Riders made their debut under head coach Chris Jones after a Week 1 bye. Argos quarterback Ricky Ray threw two touchdowns in the win.

Cross-country matchup: A pair of 1-0 teams will meet on a special Canada Day edition of Friday Night Football as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the BC Lions at Tim Hortons Field in a game that can be seen across the TSN Network and on TSN GO at 7pm et/4pm pt.

In the final Week 2 contest, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders will meet at McMahon Stadium in Calgary with both teams looking for their first win of the season.  The action gets underway at 10pm et/7pm pt and can be seen across the TSN Network and on TSN GO.
