Streak Buster:  The Toronto Raptors' franchise-record 11-game winning streak came to an end in Denver last night in a 112-93 loss to the Nuggets. The game was the first of a six-game road trip, with the Raptors right back in action tonight against the Phoenix Suns on TSN1 at 9pm et/6pm pt.

Telling His Side:  Calgary Flames defenceman Dennis Wideman will have his in-person hearing with the NHL's Hockey Operations department today for hitting linesman Don Henderson in a game last week. Wideman has been suspended indefinitely pending the hearing and could be facing a ban of at least 10 games.

Rookie Return:  Oilers rookie Connor McDavid makes his long-awaited return to action tonight when Edmonton hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets. McDavid will play for the first time since suffering a broken clavicle in a game against the Flyers on Nov. 3. The 19-year-old had five goals and seven assists in 13 games before being hurt.
